Prepare for warhammer
This post is going to be mainly dedicated to warhammer 40k and warhammer fantasy so yeah FUN!
Some games that are made in the warhammer 40k universe are Dawn of War 1 and 2, space hulk and Warhammer 40k space marine.
Some of my favourite games are set in this universe, such as Dawn of War 1 and Warhammer 40k space marine. As well as playing
this on the pc I also play a bit of the tabletop game as well, I play space wolves because they're awesome. How could I mention
Dawn of War and not mention the amazing modding community it has built up over the years, like the amazing mod ultimate apocalypse.
This mod basically overhauls all the factions in the base game, this mod requires all the DLC for Dawn of war 1 but they are very cheap.
This mod adds tons of new units for each race and also adds new game mechanics like and upgraded cover system and race specific mechanics.
My favourite race in the Warhammer 40k universe is probably the space wolves, just purely because of wolves and big beasties in general.
Battleship Gothic armada is a game made by Tindalos interactive who I've never heard of before who from my research havn't made any other big games.
Battleship Gothic is coming out on in march of 2016. Its basically a space rts game based in the warhammer 40k universe and it looks amazing!
Personally I prefare Warhammer fantasy rather than warhammer 40k just because I like fantasy more the the Warhammer style of Sci-fi
But I still like sci-fi such as star wars and star trek.
The main Warhammer fantasy game I'm looking forward to is Total war warhammer just because its a total war game in a fantasy universe
Which sounds amazing. There was a warhammer mod for medieval 2 but it was in Russian. But total war warhammer seems to be shaping up
to be a great game. The Creative Assembly who make total war are working closely with Games Workshop who own the Warhammer franchise
which is great. I have already pre-ordered total war warhammer so I am definitely looking forward to it and I think it will be a great game.
There is one draw back to the game though, CA announced that only certain factions can conquer different settles such as Dwarfs can only conquer orcish settlements
and Humans cant conquer dwarven holds but hopefully there will be mods to fix this. CA said there would be no dev kits for total war warhammer but they did the same
for medieval 2 and its the most modded total war game of all time so yeah.
